With the higher and higher requirements for the hydration of wood coatings, automotive coatings, container coatings and various civil coatings, various waterborne resins continue to emerge under the birth of coatings. These waterborne resins imported from abroad, independently developed, alkyd, polyurethane, acrylic, cured at room temperature, cured at high temperature, etc. have entered the Chinese coating market, So as to quickly promote the hydration process of coatings. Radiation curing resin will fully demonstrate the advantages of fast, convenient, low-carbon and environmental protection in plate and plane coating, which is another important direction of resin development in the future. In the "scientific and technological development ideas on VOC pollution control of coating industry in the 12th Five Year Plan", China coating industry association suggested that by 2015, water-based wood coatings should account for more than 10% of wood coatings, the hydration rate of metal primer and varnish of automobile coatings should reach more than 10%, and ship coatings should gradually realize hydration, The proportion of environment-friendly coatings in the whole industry has reached more than 60%.
 
Titanium dioxide and iron oxide pigment of inorganic pigment used to be controlled by large international companies in the high-end market. Jinzhou titanium industry has always been the only enterprise of titanium dioxide by oxidation method, and the key technology of iron oxide pigment coating has always been in the hands of a few foreign enterprises. In recent years, due to the guidance of national policies and the active guidance of the industry, there have been several enterprises to be built, to be built and planned in China, with a total production capacity of more than 200000 tons. The continuous coating technology of rutile titanium dioxide slurry continues to develop, including the heating technology before coating, the addition sequence, addition mode and amount of inorganic coating agent, the rapid and uniform mixing of titanium dioxide slurry and coating agent, reactor technology, the pH control of titanium dioxide slurry and the control of curing time. The coating technology of iron oxide pigment is similar to that of titanium dioxide. The dispersion and color serialization of its products are constantly strengthened in the minds of domestic entrepreneurs. Chlorinated titanium dioxide and powder coating technology will be expanded in this coating Expo.
 
From June 2 to 4, 2009, the equipment branch of China Coating Association successfully held the branch annual meeting with the participation of coating enterprises and equipment enterprises in Chongqing. The meeting focused on the advantages and disadvantages of the open and fully closed integrated production process of coatings, and pointed out that the fully closed integrated production process is the future development direction of coating equipment. In the development project of key technologies and key materials in the 12th Five Year Plan of the coating industry, the coating equipment and production process are involved, with emphasis on the safety and environmental protection of the fully closed integrated production process. This process is the premise of cleaner production in the coating industry, but it should solve the problems of moisture return, blockage, raw material replacement and metering in the process of powder conveying and on-line mixing. In formulating environmental and economic policies, the Ministry of environmental protection also included the fully enclosed integrated production process of coatings in the projects to encourage development.
